Welcome to my first blog of the year.  I'm Cheryl and it's good to meet you! I will be sharing lots of information about crystals and gemstones and their properties on a daily basis, so in time you'll have a crystal directory you can refer to at any time.  Today, I'm going to tell you a bit about Black Agate.  It's one of my personal "go to" stones and I wear or carry a piece every day.  I get many requests for Black Tourmaline & Obsidian as they are widely renowned for their ability for deflect negative energy, but after years of using crystals, I find Black Agate is just as powerful and also provides balance and stability.  It is often called the equilibrium stone.  It's quite an unattractive stone in it's raw state ( like dull coal) but when carved and polished it looks amazing and is great to work with.  You will find lots of pieces featuring black agate in the shop section, but I also offer a bespoke service where I can make something just for you.  Because I use natural materials (literally dug from the earth) you know you are getting something completed unique as two stones are never the same.  Feel free to browse the shop page and please don't hesitate to get in touch if you want to know more via our contact page
